Threshold Sittings
Threshold work is about the place you're standing in, not the next job, not the next creative project. The space in between, held rather than rushed.
Space held, one to one, for whatever's asking to be witnessed. The fear. The shadow side. Whatever you've asked and haven't finished sitting with.
I listen the way I do. I've spent years turning that same listening on myself. On the insecurity underneath the confidence. On imposter syndrome, and the masking that makes the outside look sure of itself when the inside wasn't. That's the work I keep doing. Now I hold it for other people.
This asks something of you. It isn't a fit for every moment.
It suits people who've stopped trying to resolve what's unresolved in them and started building it into the work itself. Not something to explain away. The actual material.
You already know the answer. What you don't have is somewhere to stand while you act on it.
Good at holding it for other people. Not so good at having it held for you. This one goes the other way. The moment before you cross, held open.
What it looks like
A Sitting is a single session, online. Some people need only that, one sitting, one thing witnessed properly.
Others keep going. A sitting every few weeks becomes a container, not because more sessions mean more progress, but because integration isn't a single event. It's what happens in the weeks after, when the question beneath the question starts showing up in ordinary moments, and you have somewhere to bring it.
A question is never just answered once. It's read twice, once for what it says, once for what it's actually reaching for. The space between those two readings is where the real signal lives. Not the answer. The gap.
Weeks later, the question comes back around: what it surfaced, what you did with it since. Not to analyse you, but to give you a way back in.
That's what a Sitting is. What you say out loud and what's underneath it rarely match exactly. That gap is where we work. And it doesn't close in one sitting. It closes the way anything real closes, by being returned to.
